River Room (at Burning Bush Brewery) Wedding - Lindsey & Jamie
Lindsey & Jamie’s wedding was one of those days that just felt good from start to finish — super chill, full of personality, and all about celebrating with their favorite people.
They kicked things off with a ceremony at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Park Ridge, which made it even more meaningful since they both went to high school there. The church was familiar, warm, and packed with emotion — in the best way.
Afterward, we took a quick detour to the school gym for some fun wedding party shots (because how often do you get to take wedding photos where you used to play basketball?). From there, it was straight onto the party bus and into the city.
We made a stop at Horner Park for a few quick photos before heading to the reception — the light was perfect, and the couple looked relaxed and totally in their element.
The party continued at the River Room at Burning Bush Brewery, a low-key, cool space that felt so right for these two. Good beer, great food, and zero stress. Everyone was just having a genuinely good time — no fuss, just fun.
But the real MVP move of the day? The afterparty at Timber Lanes, a retro bowling alley just up the street. And yes — the groom, a bunch of his buddies, and yours truly all jumped on the CTA bus to get there. Honestly, it was one of my favorite parts of the night. Nothing like riding public transit in wedding gear and then hitting the lanes with a beer in hand.
Lindsey & Jamie — you two were a blast. Thanks for letting me tag along for the ride (literally). What an awesome day with an even better group.
