Andersonville & Highwood Engagement Session - Emily & Ait

Engaged couple stylishly and playfully posing in front of red mural

Spending the morning with Emily & Ait was an absolute blast. We kicked things off super early at Foster Beach, and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. The sun was just coming up, the lake was calm, and it felt like we had the whole city to ourselves. I always recommend morning sessions for couples who want great light and zero crowds—and this is exactly why.

After the beach, we wandered around Clark Street in Andersonville, which gave us a great mix of laid-back city vibes and colorful backdrops. Emily & Ait were so natural together—easygoing, fun, and just totally in sync. They’re one of those couples you instantly click with.

We wrapped things up in Highwood, near their place, and explored the downtown area for some more personal shots. But one of the coolest parts of the day? When we stopped by the School of Rock, where Ait teaches, and they jammed out together (It wasn’t photographed, but I also joined in for a little bit. I couldn’t resist the opportunity. haha)

Emily & Ait are awesome—super kind, down-to-earth, and just great to be around. I’m seriously looking forward to their wedding this fall. It’s going to be amazing.
