The Walden Chicago Wedding (Set One)
Katie and Mike’s wedding at The Walden was a masterclass in effortless Chicago style, beginning with a relaxed morning in the venue's industrial-chic getting-ready suites. The highlight of the morning was undoubtedly their first look on The Walden’s rooftop, where the sprawling city skyline provided a breathtaking backdrop for a few quiet moments together. The couple’s easy-going energy set the tone for the day, making it easy to capture the genuine excitement of their wedding party as we kicked off the celebration in the heart of West Town.
The afternoon took a nostalgic turn as we hopped on a party bus to Lakeview for photos at The Kirkwood, the very bar where Katie and Mike first met. The owners graciously opened their doors early for us, allowing the couple to share a toast in the spot where their story began before we headed to Oz Park for some extra shots of the group. Working with this crew was a breeze; their natural chemistry and high energy made for a fun, seamless transition into the festivities.
