Emily & Ait’s wedding at The Armour House in Lake Forest, Illinois was nothing short of magical. The Armour House is one of those venues that feels timeless—its grand architecture, lush gardens, and elegant interiors make it a photographer’s dream. Every corner of the property offered something beautiful, from the sweeping staircases to the perfectly manicured lawns, and it provided the perfect backdrop for a couple as unique as Emily and Ait.
What stood out most about these two wasn’t just how photogenic they were (some just know how to nail it 😜)—it was how artistic and authentic their day felt. Both Emily and Ait are incredibly creative souls, and that energy carried through every part of the celebration. One of the most memorable moments of the night came during the reception, when they each took turns singing songs to one another with their wedding band. It was such a personal and heartfelt touch that had everyone smiling, cheering….and maybe even tearing up a little.
From the intimate ceremony on the grounds to the lively dance floor later that night, the whole day was a reflection of who they are—warm, expressive, and full of love. Photographing their wedding felt less like documenting an event and more like capturing a living piece of art.
