Hey, I’m Jacob — a wedding photographer based in Chicago, and I’ve been lucky enough to have this business for the past 15 years. My style is documentary, which just means I focus on the real stuff: the laughs, the tears, the quiet in-between moments, and everything that makes your day uniquely yours. No awkward posing or forced smiles — just the natural beauty of the day as it unfolds.
I’m a pretty laid-back guy and couples often tell me I bring a calming energy to what can be a very full (and emotional!) day. I’m there to support you, make you feel comfortable, and help things flow — all while creating creative, heartfelt images that actually feel like you. If you're looking for someone who’s genuine, thoughtful, and brings a little humor and heart to the mix, you’re in the right place.

Because let’s be honest — the perfectly posed moments rarely make the memories. It’s the in-between stuff: the side glances, the bad dance moves, the spontaneous hugs, and the real laughs that age the best.
That’s what I’m here for.
